ATTORNEY PROFILE
Attorney Christopher
Winchell was
born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1969.
He served as an enlisted infantry Marine with the United States
Marine Corps in the 1991 Gulf War. He graduated with a B.A.
degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and
received his J.D. law degree at Case Western Reserve University
School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. He practiced in the field of
construction law in Cleveland, Ohio before going back into the
Marine Corps as an officer, serving at the rank of Captain. He
served as a criminal defense Attorney in the Marine Corps and as
the Senior Criminal Defense Counsel to Marine Corps Base Hawaii,
Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, where he defended Marines and Sailors
facing criminal charges at courts-martial in Hawaii and Japan,
and supervised two other criminal defense attorneys doing the
same.
